Humana: Exceeding Retention Goal By 25%

CHALLENGE:

One of Humana Group Medicare’s largest clients, Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS), decided to move to a private exchange in 2016. Humana now had to compete against other insurers for each individual client.

 

SOLUTION:

Weber developed a multi-pronged marketing and outreach campaign that leveraged consumer research to develop marketing and sales messaging, educational tools, meeting materials, personalized letters, brochures, postcards, videos, emails, call center scripting, presentation tools, a microsite, and more.

 

RESULTS: 
  • Captured more than 50% of member base (25% more than goal).
  • Met 150% of its Medicare Supplement enrollment goal.
